AccessibilityWCAG 2.2 AA

A site everyonecan read.

We build products for people who read differently: with a screen reader, by keyboard, with large type or without animation. This site follows the same rules as our products.

01Our goal

We aim for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. It is not a certification: it is the standard we set ourselves, and measure against.

02How we measure

Every page is measured with Lighthouse, on desktop and on mobile. At the last reading, every page measured scored 100 for accessibility. An automated score doesn't see everything: if you hit an obstacle it missed, tell us.

03What the site does

  • A "Skip to content" link as the keyboard's first stop, to pass the navigation.
  • A visible focus outline on every interactive element.
  • Animations stop when your system asks to reduce motion: the walk through the house becomes a read, with no camera travel.
  • The 3D house is decorative: everything it shows is also written, in reading order.
  • Every page exists in French and English, and declares its language.
  • Text colours are chosen for contrast, including in each featured product's identity.

04The limits we know of

  • The product previews (laptop, phone, lab) are illustrations: a screen reader reads their description, not every button.
  • On a slow first visit, some product typefaces are not shown and a system font stands in, so nothing moves while you read.

05Write to us

Hit an obstacle on a page? Write to [email protected] with the page and what blocks you. A team member replies within 24 hours, and we fix what is ours to fix.
