To decidebefore you build.

  1. FundingFunding a software project in Quebec: SR&ED, NRC IRAP and the CDAEThree programs come up in every conversation: SR&ED, NRC IRAP and the CDAE. None of them automatically funds “an app”. Each targets a specific kind of work or company, and mixing them up is expensive.By Équipe Maison GR
  2. ComplianceQuebec's Law 25: what it concretely changes in your applicationLaw 25 is not only for lawyers and privacy policies. Several of its obligations play out in the software itself: at scoping, in the database and in the interface.By Équipe Maison GR
  3. ComplianceBill 96: must your website and app be in French?Largely, yes. A business's commercial publications in Quebec must be written in French, including on its website, and Bill 96 strengthened the obligation to serve customers in French.By Équipe Maison GR
  4. ProductThe MVP guide: launch the smallest version that proves somethingAn MVP is not a sloppy version of your product. It is the smallest version able to answer one precise question: do people use, and pay for, what you believe they want?By Équipe Maison GR
  5. Artificial intelligenceIntegrating AI into your product: from use case to productionMost AI projects fail between the demo and production. The demo answers ten chosen questions well; production must answer thousands of unforeseen questions correctly, at a reasonable cost.By Équipe Maison GR
  6. ComplianceOntario's job posting law: what it requires of your hiring softwareSince January 1, 2026, Ontario's Employment Standards Act sets new rules for publicly advertised job postings. As with Quebec's Law 25, several of these obligations play out in the software itself: when a job is published, and after every interview.By Équipe Maison GR
